  1. Marinate the chicken with turmeric powder,red chilli powder,salt and some mustard oil for 20 minutes..
  2. Heat a wide bottom vessel and add mustard oil.Add whole spices (cinnamon,bay leaves,green cardamom and cumin seeds).
  3. Add sliced onions and cook till light golden brown.Then add ginger garlic paste to it.Saute it for few minutes.Add chopped tomatoes to it.Cook for some minutes..
  4. After the oil separates from the masala and the raw smell of ginger garlic paste goes away,add the marinated chicken and mix well..
  5. Then add powdered spices (cumin powder,coriander powder and red chilli powder) and mix well.Cover the chicken and let it cook for 20 - 25 minutes..
  6. Once the juices dry off and the masala coats the chicken uniformly, add the garam massala and stir it well..
  7. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves and serve hot..
